Hello, I’m Zev! I’m an educator, a musician, and a dancer. And I love Jewish summer camp! I am so happy to be at Urban Adamah bringing my years of experience of being a camper in, working for, and running summer camp. It is important to me to work in Jewish community that is in harmony with the earth and Urban Adamah is the perfect place to do just that. Before coming to Urban Adamah, I was the assistant director of the afterschool program at the JCC, creating a little pocket of magic and play in the midst of the school year for kids in kindergarten through 5th grade. When I’m not at work you can find me playing the banjo, backpacking in the Sierra Nevada, teaching dance class, and cooking yummy food! In life, I most enjoy dropped-in conversations, drinking tea in the garden at sunset, vocal harmony, and moving my body.
