FAMILY PROGRAMS

Families on the Farm is a magical journey of discovery, play, and exploration on our urban farm. It’s like the best of Summer Camp, all in one morning – with veggies, animals, soil, songs, stories, and games!

Join us with your family for an amazing morning on the farm followed by lunch with other families and Urban Adamah educators. Then after lunch, feel free to stay for shomrei adamah, an hour-long opportunity to help out on the farm.

Program Details

Gather with us from 10:00 – 11:30 AM to explore our farm with your family. We will begin with an opening circle, do seasonal farm and art projects, connect the season to the Jewish calendar, and end with a community closing. Families will meet other families.

At 11:30 AM we settle in the shade and eat lunch as a community. Urban Adamah will provide a vegetarian meal for your family to enjoy. After lunch, your family is welcome to spend another hour on the farm weeding and helping in the fields.

Family programs are designed specifically for families with children ages 3 – 8 years old. If you have a toddler, feel free to bring them along and explore the farm at your own pace.

Family Farm Days are $18 per family if you register in advance and $30 at the door. Spaces are limited and participants should register to guarantee a space in the program. If this ticket price is prohibitive to you and your family, please email our Educational Programs Director, Rivka Weinstock.
