Hi! I’m Rivka. I’m an artist and designer, and I have over a decade of experience working in arts administration, project management and program design, in both the community arts and landscape architecture fields. I am passionate about making, experiencing, and teaching art, and I believe that art and creativity are incredibly healing and life-affirming, while also challenging us to grow and question the status quo. Prior to joining Urban Adamah, I was the Program Director for JCU, a non-profit organization based in Jerusalem/Al-Quds, Israel/Palestine, which supports young artists across East and West Jerusalem. I’m excited and honored to be joining Urban Adamah’s wonderful team, and I feel deeply aligned with its mission and programming and the environmental and cultural transformation it’s working to create. Outside of work, I can be found making art, translating poetry from Hebrew to English, hiking, baking, and being a parent to my 4 year old, Zamir.
