Hi, I’m Calliope! Before I started working at Urban Adamah, I had been attending events here for a decade—ranging from Purim dance parties to composting workshops. It’s a joy to come to such a beautiful space every day and be part of the fabulous group of people supporting this place and community.

As Development Director, I manage Urban Adamah’s fundraising activities and fund development strategy. I have worked in various programmatic, development, technology, and operations roles across nonprofits for the last decade. Most recently I worked as Director of Development at Foodwise (operator of Ferry Plaza Farmers Markets) and before that as Director of Technology at uAspire (a national college access nonprofit). I earned my MBA in Business Analytics from Babson College and my BA in Social Justice & Social Policy from Brandeis University.

Outside of work, you can find me concocting and sampling fun new ice cream flavors, singing, learning guitar, and hiking the hills of the East Bay.
