Hey there — I’m Donka. I am super excited to join the farm team after spending a summer as the CIT counselor here at Urban Adamah’s summer camp. I hold a degree in Feminist Studies from UCSC, but my workforce experience is in organic farming with dashes of youth development work, landscape installation, and construction sprinkled throughout. If you’re local to the bay area, you may recognize me from one of the many farmers’ markets as I have spent a combined 15 or so years picking, packing and selling produce for small farms throughout the region. I love getting my hands dirty and feel very passionate about making nutrient-dense, fresh produce accessible to all. When not working, I enjoy being in nature, cooking, surfing, playing with my sweet pup, and consuming fancy coffee or ice cream.
