Marci Glazer

Marci Glazer is a creative leader in both the for-profit and not-profit sectors throughout her career. Most recently she was the CEO of the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco for seven years and a board member for three years. While at the helm of the $36m organization, she helped thousands of Bay Area residents find personal connections to Jewish culture, bringing ancient ideas and traditions to life with delightfully modern twists. She was a Wexner Heritage Fellow in 2011.

Earlier in her career, Marci held several senior executive roles in product development, technology, and marketing across a wide range of consumer facing technology companies. At Flip Video (acquired by Cisco Systems), Marci put handheld video cameras in the hands of thousands of nonprofits prior to the smartphone era. She began her career working on ocean environmental policy for The Center for Marine Conservation (now The Ocean Conservancy).  An avid ocean swimmer, Marci is also a volunteer SCUBA diver at the California Academy of Sciences’ Steinhart Aquarium.  She lives in San Francisco with her teenage daughter.
