Jim’s career spanned from public middle school teacher to a 25 year career in the private sector to the nonprofit arena where since 2010 he held leadership positions including COO and interim CEO of the Jewish Community Federation and Endowment Fund and COO of the Osher Marin JCC.
Jim’s nonprofit board service has included serving on the boards of the Environmental Law Alliance Worldwide (eLAW), the Child & Family Therapy Center, Berkeley Crew, Congregation Beth El, and the East Bay Agency for Children.
Jim is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Cruz where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree and a California State multi-subject teaching credential.
