Hello! My name is Jesse. Ten years ago, I lived for a Summer on a Jewish farm in my hometown of Baltimore, and I’ve been singing adamah v’shamayin ever since. I see food as medicine and the setting upon which the story of our relationship with land, water, each other, and the divine is told. I’ve grown, cooked, blessed, and shared food in Huichin//the East Bay since 2012, when I moved here to participate in the Urban Adamah fellowship. The plants, programs, and community of Urban Adamah has nourished me for most of my adult life, and I look forward to sharing in the blessing of this place with you!
