I’ve been getting my hands dirty in the soil for over fifteen years. My passion for agriculture and education has brought me all over the world from Mongolia to Zanzibar studying regenerative agriculture and rural development. After several years growing at Farm and Wilderness in Vermont, I managed a youth run, urban farm in Philadelphia for the University of Pennsylvania’s, Urban Nutrition Initiative. Thereafter, I went on to manage farms and farm programming for The College of the Atlantic, Pie Ranch, The Healthy Hearts Institute, and CommunityGrows. My love for farming comes from a deep sense that life is better when laughing, getting dirty, and eating well. I feel most at home when swimming in fresh water.
