Urban Adamah is happy to hold a tentative rental date up to 15 days before the event. You will hold right of first refusal, should another party be interested in the same date.

The campus has 150 folding chairs and 15 two by six foot folding tables.

Because of the risk for fires, we do not allow candles on our site. The only exception to this rule is that we do allow candles to be used in religious services, only for the duration of those services and not for decoration purposes. Battery operated candles are a great alternative option for added ambiance. We do allow sterno cans, but as with any open flame, require someone from your group or catering team must be responsible for watching them at all times.

Depending on time of day and level of amplification, the City of Berkeley may require that an Amplified Sound Permit be obtained 30 days prior to all events with outdoor amplified music. If it is required, Urban Adamah can obtain your Sound Permit once a contract is signed. If you would like to have amplified music at your event please reach out to our Retreats & Celebrations Director.

Urban Adamah can provide food and beverage options through one of our preferred caterers, or guests can choose an approved caterer of their choice for a nominal kitchen use fee. Check out all the information about catering here!

The farm is a special place, full of non-human life. The plants and animals on here are our friends! And they do require delicate handling to be healthy. Our goats should not be fed unless accompanied by an Urban Adamah staff member. Our plants and produce should not be picked, as nearly everything we grow here on the farm is donated to people in our community who don’t have access to fresh food. Please remind your guests to be kind to our living friends on the farm.
