Spring Break on the Farm

Join Hillel students from across the country for a week of magic and service on our 2-acre farm in Berkeley, California. Participants will spend the week growing and learning, guided by the themes of Sustainable Agriculture, Social Justice, Mindfulness and Jewish Spirituality.

Highlights Include:

  • Working and learning in all aspects of our integrated ecological farm – plants and animals (goats, chickens, bees and fish!)
  • Creating farm-to-table creations for most meals
  • Participating in the “best-of” courses on Social Justice, Jewish Tradition, and Sustainable Agriculture offered by faculty from the Urban Adamah Fellowship.
  • Experiencing/Building vibrant, earthy, embodied, meaningful Jewish community
  • Co-creating/manifesting a farmy shabbat celebration with the Spring Urban Adamah Fellows
  • Exploring the natural wonders of the San Francisco Bay Area.

Dates and Registration

Spring Break on the Farm will run from March 21-26, 2017. Space for this program is very limited. The cost is $600 per student and includes all food and program expenses.
