Spring Festival of Learning/Lag Ba’Omer CelebrationDate & Time

Join us for a day of learning and celebration on the farm. In the afternoon workshops and classes offered by leading teachers in Bay Area on Jewish tradition, mindfulness, social justice, and farming/nature. There will be also fun farm activities for all ages to enjoy to food. In the evening we’ll light a bonfire, count the Omer, and dance our socks off to lively music from local band Kugelplex. Beer and homemade pizza available for purchase.
Tickets are $10 if purchased by end of day May 13th. $15 on May 14th or at the door. One ticket gains admission to any part of the day. FREE childcare is available for ages 4-12 during the afternoon (1-4 pm) in 70 minute intervals. Limited space is available, we suggest registering in advance for childcare.

Learn from some of the best Jewish leaders & teachers in the Bay Area and beyond! Fun farm stations offered for all to enjoy during this time including cob building, Shabbat candle making, nature prints, farm scavenger hunt, hanging with the goats and chickens, face painting, and more! Food will be available for purchase.

Gather in the main tent for a keynote by Rabbi David Ingber of Romemu. Named by Newsweek as one of 2013’s top 50 most influential rabbis in the United States as well as by The Forward as one of the 50 most newsworthy and notable Jews in America, Rabbi David Ingber promotes a renewed Jewish mysticism that integrates meditative mindfulness and physical awareness into mainstream, post-modern Judaism. A major 21st Century Jewish thinker and educator, his rich perspective, open heart and mind, and full-bodied approach to Jewish learning has brought him to speak throughout the United States and worldwide throughout Canada, Europe and Israel.
5:00-7:30 Lag Ba’Omer Bonfire and Dance Party with Kugelplex
Gather around the fire as we count the Omer and boogie down to tunes from Kugelplex. Featuring Jason Ditzian (clarinet), Dan Cantrell (accordion), Lila Sklar (vocals), Max Baloian (Guitar), Michael Pinkham (drums), and Eric Perney (bass). Beer will be provided and pizza will be available for purchase.
