Spiced Up! Aleksandra Dubov and Friends in a Pre-Purim Concert
On Purim we are commanded to get “spiced up,” to turn our worlds upside down and to let ourselves experience joy and merriment. Come join us on the farm, in costume, for a festive evening of pre-Purim entertainment: live music, poetry, cacao, and more. Expect the unexpected!
Aleksandra Dubov, an artist, yogini and muse based in the Bay Area, will be sharing her innovative and moving compositions. Joining Aleksandra will be Aharon Wheels Bolsta on percussion, Patrick Kelly on bass & electronics, and Graham Patzner on violin. Morgan Bolender will open the show and Alice Frank will perform Purim poetry to prepare us for the holiday.
Tickets are $10-$20 sliding scale in advance, $20 at the door. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Accessibility: This event is ADA accessible and will be held in our Main Tent. There will be heat in the tent. This event is not scent-free.
Aleksandra is a Kundalini Yoga teacher, an award winning actress, and a community leader with Wilderness Torah. She began performing at the age of six at the Metropolitan Opera children’s chorus.
