Jewish Plant Magic

Garlic for memory and identity. Hyssop for healing. Pomegranate for holiness. Among many things, meaning-making of the natural world is at the root of Judaism – with uses of plants outlined in the Torah and Jewish rituals calling upon specific plants each year.

In this first-of-its-kind workshop, we will discuss where and how plants show up in Jewish texts, learn the ancient healing properties of these plants, and thread the medicinal and spiritual uses of plants into our lives today. You will unearth a new knowledge and understanding of these magical plants to enrich your ritual practice and expand your Jewish identity. We will also make our own herb bundles to take home.

Tickets are $15 and these classes are limited to 25 people, so sign up today!
