Home Vegetable Gardening Basics
Come out to learn the basics of growing food on a small scale! We will cover how to start plants from seed, transplant vegetable starts, and care for and harvest all of your vegetables. We will discuss compost, soil, and planting in an urban space. Lastly, we will look at different planting styles (i.e. biointensive, row crops, and mound-style), do some planting together, and co-create a planting schedule for the Bay area.
Leave this class knowing how to get into the dirt and come out with abundance. Tickets are $25 and these classes are limited to 25 people, so sign up today!
