Havdalah and 80’s Dance Party
Celebrate the start of the week with Havdalah and a dance party on the farm!
Havdalah is the Hebrew word for “division” or “separation” and signifies the ritual marking the end of Shabbat. Join us as we engage our senses and sing with community. After Havdalah, we’ll start the new week off right with a dance party! Expect the tunes that make you want to groove and move your body. Get down late into the night (or until you have to go home to relieve the baby sitter). People who aren’t in their 40’s and/or have moved beyond the 1980’s are also welcome.
8:00-9:15 pm– Dance!
9:15-9:30 pm– Adam Berman leads Havdalah
9:30-11:00 pm– More Dance Party!
Drinks will be provided; please bring your favorite dessert or snack to share. This event is free in advance and $10 at the door. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. If you have any questions about the event, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Accessibility: Havdalah will be held in our ADA accessible gathering area and the dance party will be held in our heated and ADA accessible main tent. We have one accessible parking spot in our lot, however please leave time to find street parking if needed, as our lot fills up quickly. FM receivers are available for those hard of hearing.
