Kehilla Klezmer Band
Our Simchat Torah band is led by the indomitable Mike Perlmutter, and features Nicole Bloom on clarinet, Ilana Sherer and Josh Wirtshafter on violin, Hazan Shulamit Wise-Fairman on vocals, Sharon Grodin on accordion, Dev Noily on trumpet, Greg Stephens on trombone, Michael Saxe-Taller on baritone, Johnny Blood on helicon and Ivan Velev on tapan. Special thanks to our cosponsors Aquarian Minyan and Beyt Tikkun.
Tot Simchat Torah
Puppetry is a powerful tool for entertaining and educating, and puppets take children and adults into a magical realm of wonder and joy. Join Jen Miriam Altman, Alon Altman, Raizel the Camel, and Raizel’s puppet friends for a half-hour Simchat Torah service geared towards tots. The service includes singalongs with guitar, drums, and other instruments; puppets; and dancing with scarves. This is a great way to introduce young children to Simchat Torah
