Daily Fellowship Schedule
Daily Schedule
7:00 Service of the Heart
Held in the living room of Beit Adamah (the fellows residence). Led by Urban Adamah faculty, guest facilitators, or fellows.
8:00 Breakfast and Chores
Chores include house maintenance (cleaning, etc) and regular agricultural responsibilities (i.e. chicken care, composting, etc.)
9:00 Earth Service/Community Service
Our work day begins together at the Adamah Farm. On some days, student or community groups will join the fellows on the farm for work and learning sessions.
12:30 Lunch and Break
2:00 Earth Service/Community Service
Fellows will generally break into smaller groups during the afternoon. Some will stay at the farm to work or teach visiting children (as part of Camp Urban Adamah in the summer or as part of our Urban Adamah Hebrew school program in the fall.) Others might join one of our community partner organizations on an urban sustainability project like solar panel or permaculture garden installation in low-income homes. On some days, fellows will spend the afternoon on organized tours of other local farms and other urban sustainability projects.
5:30 Break and Dinner
Dinners are prepared by fellows and shared communally.
