The farm is producing a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, and includes two greenhouses, chickens, bees, and several teaching tents.

The Urban Adamah farm is an educational center for Bay Area students and community members. Visitors are invited to participate in specific educational programs, volunteer work-days, and special holiday programs. We host more than 5,000 visitors annually.

The Urban Adamah Farm Sign with a weekly Harvest

Most of the farm’s produce is being delivered to organizations serving those in the community most in need. We also run a weekly Free Food farmstand – the Peah Corner.  The remaining produce is consumed by the fellows and staff who work the farm. A small percentage is given as special gifts to funders of the program.

The Urban Adamah farm is designed for portability. All structures including the greenhouses and planting boxes are easily deconstructable and transportable.

Our site on Parker Street has been donated by Wareham Development LLC at least through the 2012 season. In 2013, Urban Adamah likely will need to find a new home.
